“I have known Linda for over two decades in a variety of her jobs as the Fundraising and Marketing Manager for the Northern Territory Guide Dogs Association of SA/NT; as the PA for a number of the City of Palmerston’s Mayors and most recently as the PA for the Northern Territory’s Attorney General, where I worked as the Chief of Staff. Indeed, I recruited Linda to this job knowing the high level of requirements for this position and Linda’s capabilities, skill base and personality.
This was an extremely busy office with constant high level demands and an absolute necessity to have full confidence in all of the logistics regarding the Minister’s travel, finances, appointments, correspondence, reporting obligations and running of the office. Each Minister had similar positions and all experienced high levels of turnover and on occasions lack of capacity in their staff. Linda became the longest serving Ministerial PA at this time and assumed a number of other roles to assist with the training, induction, expectations and problem solving in other offices.
Linda learns new systems and processes quickly and has a very wide experiential base. She is diligent, industrious, confidential and honest and can make valuable contributions to discussions in those other areas which do not fall within her direct responsibilities. She is a valuable asset in any organisation she works in and is loyal to the corporate direction”
